The crystal clear waters of the remarkable Hauraki Gulf. Fish swishing their fins and the fresh air in the sunshine morning. As the plankton racing forward to escape from a gigantic whale. Dolphins leaping to breath fresh air. A slippery eel has to find something to eat for his breakfast. A better place to have a picnic is at the beaches at the Hauraki Gulf.
The sun was shining on the sand and salty water sparkling. We were going to Howick beach for the most spectacular trip ever... WATER WISE! We went to school in morning and got changed in to our mufti to go. We went in the Wakavan with Mrs Martin. HOORAY! We arrived at Howick beach.
Firstly I ran to the boat shed to wear a life jacket to be safe in the water. The life jacket felt chilly and watery wet. The life jacket was orange and very bright like the sun in the steamy air. the life jacket had a big zipper and a huge clip like a size of an egg. ''Everyone on the grass'' ! Mr Nicholls shouted I ran as fast ...... as I could to the grass
